Firstmet Review – Is It Any Good In 2023?

Ready to take the plunge into online dating? Firstmet is here to help! This review will tell you all about this popular dating app – from its features and benefits, down to how it stacks up against other apps in the same space. So, what makes Firstmet so special? Is it worth your time and energy? Can you really find true love with a swipe of your finger?! Let’s dive in and see…

Verdict

Ugh, Firstmet. Talk about a total waste of time and money! It’s like the online dating version of trying to fit a square peg into a round hole – it just doesn’t work. I mean, what kind of app has you fill out an extensive questionnaire only for them to match you with someone who lives on the other side of the country? Not cool! Plus their customer service is terrible; they never respond or help solve any issues that arise from using their site. All in all, if you’re looking for love online there are much better options than Firstmet – trust me on this one!

How we reviewed Firstmet

As an online dating expert, I took a deep dive into Firstmet to review it. My team and I tested both the free and paid versions of this app by sending messages to other users over a period of time. We sent out hundreds of messages in total – some as part of our research process while others were used for testing purposes – all within just 10 days!

To ensure we got the full picture, we also looked at how user-friendly the interface was; whether signing up was easy or not; if there were any glitches when navigating through different features on the app; what kind of search filters are available etc. Additionally, since safety is always paramount with these kinds reviews, my team checked if there’s enough security measures put in place like two-factor authentication options that help protect users from scammers/bots etc., which thankfully Firstmet does have enabled already.

To make sure no stone is left unturned during our review process (which sets us apart from other sites), we also made use various analytics tools to track key metrics such as active memberships count per day/week/month so that readers can get an idea about its popularity among people who are looking for love online too!

All said and done though – thoroughness has been one constant throughout this entire journey – making sure nothing gets missed out along the way before publishing our final verdict on Firstmet

Security & Safety

If you’re looking for a dating app that promises safety and security, Firstmet is not the one. This app has some serious flaws when it comes to user verification, fighting against bots and fake accounts, two-step authentication options, photo reviews and its privacy policy.

Let’s start with user verification – there isn’t any! That means anyone can sign up without having to prove their identity or even provide an email address. It doesn’t get much more sketchy than this folks! And if that wasn’t bad enough they don’t have anything in place to fight off those pesky bots or fake accounts either so who knows what kind of weirdos are lurking around on the platform? Not me – I’m outta here!

But wait…it gets worse; there’s no two-step authentication option available which means your account could be hacked into pretty easily by someone determined enough (or tech savvy). Plus photos aren’t manually reviewed so you never know what type of images might pop up while scrolling through profiles…and let’s just say it ain’t always PG rated stuff we’re talking about here people!! Last but certainly not least is their Privacy Policy which leaves a lot open for interpretation as far as how data will be used once collected from users. In other words: buyer beware!!!

Bottom line: If safety and security are important factors when choosing a dating app then steer clear of Firstmet because these features definitely leave something to be desired

Design & Usability

If you’re looking for a dating app that will make your eyes bleed, Firstmet is the one. From its garish colors to its confusing design, it’s like someone took all of the worst elements from other apps and rolled them into one. It looks like something out of an early 2000s website!

The usability isn’t much better either – trying to find what you need can be a real chore. The navigation bar at the top is hard to read and doesn’t have any helpful labels or icons on it so unless you already know where everything goes then good luck figuring out how things work! Plus there are no tooltips or hints when hovering over buttons which makes learning even more difficult if not impossible in some cases. It seems as though they want people who use their free version to upgrade by making certain features only available with paid subscriptions – such as UI improvements – but this just feels like another way for them to squeeze money out of users instead of providing an enjoyable experience right off the bat (or should I say swipe?).

Overall, using Firstmet feels clunky and outdated compared with other modern dating apps; there’s nothing special about it except maybe being able to give yourself nightmares after seeing those awful colors every time you open up your phone screen…

Firstmet features

If you’re looking for a dating app that offers more than just the same old features, Firstmet is not it. I recently tried out this service and was left feeling pretty underwhelmed by what they had to offer.

First of all, let me start off with their free features: You can create an account and browse through profiles without having to pay anything which is nice but other than that there isn’t much else going on here. They have a basic messaging system where you can send messages back and forth but no video or audio chat capabilities – so if you’re hoping for something interactive then look elsewhere! The search function also leaves something to be desired as it’s very limited in terms of options; basically all you get are age range preferences which doesn’t really give enough information about potential matches.

Moving onto paid features…well unfortunately these don’t fare any better either because most of them are still quite basic such as being able to see who has viewed your profile or read your messages (which should already be included in the free version). There’s nothing particularly unique here like some sort of game-like feature or icebreaker questions etc., so overall I would say that Firstmet falls short when compared with its competitors who often provide far more interesting experiences at similar prices points – ugh talk about disappointing!

All things considered, my verdict on Firstmet would definitely be “meh". It might work okay if all you want is a simple platform for chatting/messaging people online but otherwise there aren’t many bells & whistles worth paying extra money for – boo hiss!!

  • User profiles with detailed information and photos
  • Matching algorithm to find compatible partners
  • Messaging system to communicate with potential matches
  • Location-based search to find singles near you
  • Ability to upload videos to your profile

Help & Support

If you’re looking for support from Firstmet, don’t bother. It’s not worth the effort! I’ve been trying to get in touch with them for a while now and all I got was crickets. The response time is non-existent and there isn’t even an FAQ page on their website that could help me out.

I contacted customer service twice already but never heard back or received any kind of satisfactory answer – talk about being left hanging! Even if they did respond, it wouldn’t be much use since their answers are usually vague at best and downright unhelpful at worst. So if you’re having trouble using this dating app, don’t expect anyone to come running to your rescue anytime soon…if ever!

Firstmet might seem like a great idea when browsing through its features online – but trust me: once something goes wrong (which happens more often than not), you’ll find yourself completely stranded without any real way of getting assistance quickly or efficiently. To put it bluntly: good luck finding someone who can actually help because no one seems available here…and those who do aren’t particularly helpful either!

It’s really too bad because this app has potential; however until they step up their game when it comes to providing reliable customer service then my advice would be just stay away from Firstmet altogether unless you want nothing more than frustration after frustration piling up over time as each issue remains unresolved due largely in part by the lack of competent support staff members willing/able enough able handle inquiries promptly & professionally which is what users should rightfully expect nowadays given how far technology has advanced within recent years alone yet sadly doesn’t appear so based upon my own experiences thus far anyway unfortunately 🙁

Pricing

Ah, Firstmet. The dating app that promises to bring you the love of your life – for a price! Yes, unfortunately this one isn’t free; if you want access to all its features and benefits then it’s gonna cost ya. Sure there are some basic functions available without paying but let’s face it: those won’t get you very far in the world of online dating!

For starters, if you don’t pay up then forget about being able to see who likes or views your profile – no way around that unless you cough up some cash. And even when subscribing for premium membership options they aren’t exactly cheap either; prices range from $20-$50 depending on how long-term an arrangement is desired by users (eek!). So yeah…not so competitively priced here I’m afraid…especially compared with other apps out there offering similar services at much lower costs.

But hey – maybe money can buy happiness after all? Who knows what kind of connections could be made once signing up as a paid member? It might just be worth investing in considering their matchmaking algorithms which have been designed specifically with compatibility and quality matches in mind….so perhaps shelling out will give daters more bang for their buck than expected?!

Q&A

1. What is Firstmet?

Firstmet is a dating app that I tried and it was pretty terrible. It had too many fake profiles, so it wasn’t worth my time. Plus the interface felt outdated compared to other apps out there.

2. How much does Firstmet subscription cost?

Firstmet subscription costs way too much for what it offers. It’s a complete rip off and not worth the money at all. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to pay for this dating app, there are better options out there that don’t cost an arm and a leg!

3. How can I know that the profiles on Firstmet are real?

Firstmet doesn’t have any real verification process, so you can never be sure if the profiles are actually real. There’s no way to tell who is genuine and who isn’t, which makes it a bit of a gamble. I wouldn’t trust anyone on Firstmet unless they had some kind of proof that their profile was legitimate.

4. How many users does Firstmet have?

I’m not impressed with Firstmet’s user base. It doesn’t seem to have that many people using it, and I haven’t had much luck finding matches on there. Overall, the number of users seems pretty low compared to other dating apps out there.
